Bitumen

Oxidized Bitumen 115/15 grade is a solid at ambient temperature produced by blowing hot air through penetration-grade bitumen such as bitumen 60/70 under controlled temperature conditions resulting in a harder, more temperature-stable material ideal for industrial, roofing, and waterproofing applications.

Black in colour and solid at ambient temperature.
High softening point (~115°C), high flash point and highly stable during melting.
High penetration index @25°C: ~15dmm
Supplied in 25kg solid blocks, enclosed in durable cardboard packaging for convenient handling and transport.

Uses

Raw material for civil works; pavement, sealing, road construction, roofing, crack seal and repair.
Impregnating agent for bitumen membranes.
Adhesive, construction materials additive, coating, insulating.
Production of rubber and plastic products as a modifier or additive in specific applications.
Production of asphalt-based paints for corrosion protection of metals, lining public works structures, adhesives in electrical laminates.
